You need an HDMI 2.0 input with HDCP 2.2 support. You also need an Internet connection that supports Ultra HD streams. As a general rule, a download of 25 Mb / s or more should be sufficient for high definition streaming.

As with HDCP 2.2, all connected devices must support it. This applies to the TV, AVR, soundbar, etc. Otherwise, 4K content cannot be streamed and the maximum resolution cannot exceed 1080p.

Tip: If you have an older Smart TV with many HDMI inputs, one of them usually supports HDCP 2.2. Refer to the TV's instruction manual to determine which input to use.

Repairing the Roku HDCP Error

Step 1
